Simon comes to Precision Golf School after a highly successful teaching and
playing career across the pond in Europe. Simon is a qualified class (A)
professional of the British PGA since 1992.
McGreal's playing career began to take off when he represented the Lancashire county
boys team at the age of 17 and quickly realized his dream of pursuing professional golf.
Two years later at 19 he turned pro and educated himself on all aspects of the profession
to qualify in 3 short years. Simon then spent the next 2 years playing on the Lancashshire-Cheshire PGA, winning multiple events.
These years were highlighted by a narrow miss to qualify for the 1994 British Open at Royal Birkdale, England.
In 1995, Simon was offered a contract to be Teaching professional at the Bad
Herrenalb Golf Club, located in the black Forrest, Germany. Simon taught for 4 seasons
and is now Bi-lingual. In addition, Simon completed and graduated from a residential
fitness program on Maui, Hawaii in 1997.
During 1997-98, Simon player selective events on the German Developmental Tour & in 1998, Simon finish 12th in the Pepsi
European Professionals Championships in Budapest, Hungary out of a very selective group of 4 best professionals from each of the
European countries (120 total field).
BFG (Belk Financial Group) of Greensboro sponsored Simon to play professionally for the 2003 season. He competed in
selective events on the Atlantic Coast Golf Tour, The Tar-heel Tour, Nationwide Tour, PGA Tour & US Open qualifiers.
Simon finished in the Top-10 three times during the 2003 Tour, highlighted by a 2nd place finish at Quarry Hills GC in
