In 2001, the Triad Youth Golf Foundation and the Precision Golf School joined together to bring the
LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program to the Triad, the first chapter established in North Carolina.
LPGA-USGA Girls Golf was developed in partnership between the Ladies Professional Golf Association Foundation
& the United States Golf Association.
The program, for girls ages 6 to 17, develops their interests in the game
through programs designed to make golf fun and enjoyable while learning the
skills necessary to enjoy the game of golf. Each program is open to all girls
in the Triad and operates in conjunction with local youth organizations.
